Tuition Supervisor

Iqra Education is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Tuition Supervisor to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, leading teams, and creating an inspiring, well-organised learning environment.

 

At Iqra Education, we believe in fostering curiosity, confidence, and progress for every student. As a Tuition Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our sessions run smoothly and that children are supported, engaged, and safe throughout.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily running of tuition sessions, maintaining a positive, structured, and stimulating environment.
  • Supervise and support tutors, ensuring lessons are delivered to a high standard.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff, representing the ethos of Iqra Education in every interaction.
  • Ensure children are cared for safely and have access to activities that promote learning and personal growth.
  • Monitor and record student attendance, engagement, and progress.
  • Assist with behaviour management, ensuring sessions remain calm, inclusive, and productive.
  • Communicate with parents about their child’s progress and wellbeing.
  • Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies at all times.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A confident, engaging, and responsible individual who enjoys working with children.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate others.
  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational or childcare setting.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to anticipate and manage challenges effectively.
  • Awareness of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities (training provided).
  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths; further education or childcare-related qualifications are an advantage.
