KS3 & KS4 Maths Tutor

Iqra Education is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Maths Tutor to join our team, supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4. We specialise in small-group academic support in Maths, English, and Science, helping students close learning gaps, build confidence, and develop a love for learning.

 

The Role
As a Maths Tutor, you’ll help students strengthen their understanding of core mathematical concepts while developing problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. You’ll work with small groups of mixed-ability learners, encouraging participation, celebrating effort, and helping each child reach their potential.

 

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys making Maths engaging and meaningful, inspiring students to approach challenges with confidence.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver well-structured Maths lessons that align with the National Curriculum.
  • Support small groups of learners, adapting teaching methods to suit different abilities.
  • Help students develop numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Build confidence and resilience through positive encouragement.
  • Promote a fun, inclusive, and focused learning environment.
  • Represent Iqra Education’s values of excellence, care, and growth in every session.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong understanding of Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Enthusiastic and engaging individuals who enjoy helping young people succeed.
  • Great communicators with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring is desirable but not essential.
  • A positive role model who inspires curiosity and confidence.
